Playing theater we go into Greek mythology with Marc Artigau and Núria Guiu Sagarra because myths examine fundamental problems –love, war, sin, tyranny, courage and fate– but don’t change them.
L'última f**king nit (o la festa de Zeus i Hera) is the story of a banquet, of the wedding of Zeus and Hera. It is a major event that none of the Olympian gods would miss. At this celebration, where the hidden most passions spring forth, wisdom will fight against irrationality –desire, against death and war, against love– and we learn who these myths are, their miseries, their desires, their fears and why humans venerate them. Why they are eternal.
Do you know the gods of Olympus?
Zeus, son of Cronus and Rhea, supreme god of Olympus
Hera, daughter of Cronus and Rhea, goddess of marriage, women, sky and stars
Hades, son of Cronus and Rhea, god of the underworld and the dead
Ares, son of Zeus and Hera, god of war
Dionis, son of Zeus and Semele, god of fertility and wine
Aphrodite, daughter of Uranus, goddess of love, beauty and fertility
