Double program directed by Andrés Lima (El pan y la sal, 2018/19; Edipo rey, Medea and Antígona, 2015/16; El montaplatos, 2012/13) inspired by Naomi Klein’s The shock doctrine: a trip to explain how psychiatric research from the 1950s and the ultra-liberal theories of Chicago Economic School are used to implant capitalism all around the world. From Chile and Argentina to Iraq, and also to our present.

They form the diptych Shock the shows El Condor y el Puma and La tormenta y la guerra. Both shows can be seen in alternating performances on 14 and 15 April, and followed (in consecutive performances) on 16 and 17 April.

El Cóndor y el Puma [The Condor and the Puma] is the result of theatrical research into a historical event - General Pinochet's coup against the government of Salvador Allende. It is a piece of documentary theatre that presents History, but for experiencing it emotionally, and authored by leading lights in playwriting.
