Description
Four years ago, the Lliure hosted and co-produced the annual show of the IT Teatre project in conjunction with the Institut del Teatre de la Diputació de Barcelona. This time, director Lucía Miranda, inspired on Mercè Rodoreda, is charged with making us reflect on why and how we tell each other stories.
Based on children stories and reaching at the fantastical tales, Miranda suggests a foray into art to tell them. Why do we tell each other stories? When we let others tell us stories? Why is it so important for us to explain life? Do stories, just like the theatre, have their own rites? From the stage, can we capture the essence of something as small and intimate as the act of narrating?
