Description
We recovered a proposal from the Catalan artist Marga Socias, who usually works with the Danish company Carte Blanche and the French Théâtre à l'Envers. This is a trip organized inside the Teatre Lliure in Montjuïc.
The Hole & Corner Travel Agency is a tour for a small group of people, guided by the artist herself, Marga Socias, director and founder of the agency. On this occasion they will visit the headquarters of Lliure in Montjuïc.
Through their peculiar observation of reality those who visit the agency have the opportunity to dive into a parallel world and meet a new place that emerges from the details, from the cracks, from the corners, from the small universes that are, but you don’t always see them.
The Hole & Corner Travel Agency is a show in which historical reality and magical fiction go hand in hand and build a new story.
We therefore find an agency that adapts routes in the form of questions, inviting people to find the invisible stories that exist in everyday spaces.
The street version premiered in FiraTàrrega - Arts de carrer in 2015 and the piece toured Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Italy. This year 2022 has recovered but in an interior version, in the House Museu Castellarnau of Tarragona, within the Festival of Dansa i Moviment Espais Inerts.
