With this theatrical activity, which will occupy different spaces in the Teatre Lliure on Montjuïc, we are fully embracing the purpose set forth by the Argentine creator Laura Vago: to give body and physical experience to the emptiness caused by social distancing in the COVID-19 pandemic and to allow collective grieving, still unfinished business, to flourish. As the artist herself says, “we cannot continue to ignore the dead”. With Noli me tangere (no em toquis), which will be held the same days in the Sala Fabià Puigserver hall, also on Montjuïc, the theatre is claiming itself precisely as a space where this ritual of grief is represented and symbolised.

This show sprang from the proposal envisioned by Vago, the winner of one of the Carlota Soldevila Extraordinary Creation Assistance Awards, in the category of Remote Stage, created since the pandemic put a halt to theatre activity.
