The Clàssics per a criatures was urgently created due to lockdown with the adaptation of four works for a family audience. Now, with Teatre Lliure’s new Sala online, we are showing some of these works again, which will
only be viewable for a few days. First comes this animated version of King Lear by Jordi Oriol and Riki Blanco.

The real protagonist of this work is madness, stimulated by deceptive appearances. The dummy in this new Lear not only fails to recognise the feigned love of the real but (like Earl Gloucester from the original play) must lose his sight and all of his authority in order to be able to see and face up to harsh reality.
