The educational actions that complement a trip to the theatre help to train students to be something more than just ‘good spectators’ and sow the first seeds of dialogue, idea associations, a critical spirit, empathy and the ability to express themselves.
Activities to complement shows
Let’s go into the theatre!
We propose a participatory tour of the facilities of the Teatre Lliure de Montjuïc, designed specifically for students from 6 to 12 years, so they can understand how a theater works: we will go on stage and discover the secrets of the stage box, we will enter a dressing room and we will put on costumes, we will enter a rehearsal room and we will experiment with 'La caixa del Lliure'

Routes with the Liceu
Complement the experience of the show with a participatory workshop. laCultivadora is now offering tours where two facilities are teaming up to offer you a more complete, broader experience.
Reiterat rei tarat + Music and movement workshop at the Liceu
After seeing the play Reiterat rei tarat at the Teatre Lliure, you can head to the Liceu opera house to participate in an artistic workshop that will allow you to relive the play and reflect on the issues it raises through dance and movement.
La cuina de Rossini + Theatre workshop at the Teatre Lliure
After seeing the opera La cuina de Rossini, which tells the story of two young people, Ross and Isabella, who delve into a fascinating world on a journey of friendship and discovery that takes them to Rossini’s operas, you can head to the Teatre Lliure to participate in an artistic workshop with 'La caixa del Lliure', where you’ll discover the stage machinery that allows magical effects like the ones you saw in the opera to be created.
Creation process
Students will see how a theatre creation is developed, from the initial idea to the premiere. Three encounters will be held with the artistic team of Electra: one at the start of the process, another during the creation process (with attendance at a rehearsal!) and the third after coming to see a show.

Pack of little critiques and critical thinking
This files are some material goes with the shows Un tros de pa, Reiterat rei tarat, Tumbalafusta, Caramel, Electra and El peix daurat. Sharing the tools of theatre criticism with students fosters an active attitude and critical sense so that they can look at the world differently, with the goal of going from a simple ‘I like it / I don’t like it’ or the drive to ‘like’ things to asking questions about the show: Why am I bored or irritated? Why did it make me laugh or cry or think? Or why did it spark my imagination?
