Description
The director Mario Gas is bringing to the stage the relationship between the writer Albert Camus and the actress María Casares based on their correspondence. It is a documentary play which is also a journey through the intensity of feelings and the history of Europe.
María Casares, daughter of the president of the government of the Spanish republic, lives in exile in Paris. At the age of twenty-one she meets Albert Camus. In 1944, on the D-Day, they became lovers; in 1948, they became couples. They were lovers until his death in 1960. During all these years, the great lady of the French scene and the Nobel Prize for Literature are written so much.
