After asking ourselves what is theater, what defines us, to quote Rilke to "live the questions" with the performative lectures, to admire the margins and the lack of definition -always positive- of the performing arts, Katharsis reaches her fourth year with a deeper existential crisis than at birth. We acquire depth.

Katharsis was born in 2020 as a special program that every January shows a set of shows led by artists who understand, work and live the theater outside of hegemonic definitions. For this reason we offer citizens alternatives to have a wider range of scenic and the possibility to discover and live other scenic realities to constantly redefine the idea of theater.
