further information
Marc Rosich once again directs a musical at the Lliure (he successfully directed Renard o el Llibre de les bèsties [Renard, or the Book of Beasts] in 2016). His latest production is loosely inspired by Miquel Berga's story La bruixa de Cadaqués [The Witch of Cadaqués], which was published as part of the El Vaixell de Vapor collection for children in 2014. The original music is by Carles Pedragosa, and pays tribute to Catalonia's native musical genre, the habanera, but also parodies the Spanish "ye-ye" hits of 1960s.

La Bruixa de la tramuntana is a piece of children's theatre for children and adults, freely inspired by Miquel Berga's book La Bruixa de Cadaqués, published as part of El Vaixell de Vapor collection for children. Marc Rosich's play takes the essence of this story and makes it into a musical adventure by Carles Pedragosa, paying tribute to musical genre of the Habanera, as well as parodying Spain's ye-ye pop hits of the 1960s.
