Mon petit cirque

The year they celebrate their 30th anniversary, the NGO Clowns Without Borders will offer two shows in collaboration with the Teatre Lliure in Margarida Xirgu Square. This, the first one, will take place on 21/10, and the second one, on 06/04: two occasions to enjoy the circus and clown arts with a true social purpose.

Mon petit cirque is a reflection on the comfort zone, seen from the absurd and with much humor. A shared experience between actor and audience from the poetics of the clown. A metaphorical and human journey into the depths of our being, to how we feel when we are taken from the place we know. We show how, sometimes, although our comfort zone is uncomfortable, we prefer to stay in it. Through the circus we will experience fun, uncomfortable and poetic situations, failure and success. And above all, lots of laughs.


Since 1993, Clowns Without Borders travels sharing smiles in the neediest corners of the planet and our home. The joy conveyed in their shows helps to improve the emotional situation of children and adults who have suffered wars, natural disasters or other traumatic and extremely vulnerable situations.
